The project is a collaboration of the Provosts Office, UI Libraries and ITS to create an intellectual hub for undergrads at UI.

About the Learning Commons

The Learning Commons will foster student success by providing:

Flexible Study Space

24 hour, flexible, comfortable study space for students, including space for group collaboration and individual study. Increases quality and quantity of study space.

Information Assistance

A consolidated service point will be at the hub of the learning commons. Support staff will be able to answer common academic questions and quickly facilitate expert-level assistance for academic and research issues.
